As it has become tradition at our university, the Alpen-Adria-Universität participated in the IEEE Xtreme Programming Competition 7.0 – this year co-organized by the IEEE Student Branch Klagenfurt. In total 1630 teams participated including five teams from Klagenfurt. Finally, the IEEE published the final results. The teams from Klagenfurt achieved excellent results. Best team from our university was the team ParanoideRasselbande consisting of Benjamin Steinwender, Sergii Zhevzhyk, and Thomas Dittrich. They reached the excellent 29th position out of 1630 teams from all over the world. Within German speaking countries they achieved the second place. Within Austria they ranked first competing against teams from TU Vienna and TU Graz. More information can be obtained from the official website.
